The television news from the overseas stations of France Télévisions are available "in live and continuous access" in a "Continuous" section on the La1ere.fr site or the La 1ère application, the public group said in a press release on Monday 24 April. This section gives access to the information editions of the nine overseas stations, Guadeloupe La 1ère, Martinique La 1ère, Guyana La 1ère, Saint-Pierre and Miquelon La 1ère, Réunion La 1ère, Mayotte La 1ère, New Caledonia La 1ère, Polynesia La 1ère and Wallis and Futuna La 1ère.

Thanks to live video, it is thus possible to see or review, in local hours, live or in replay, the major cultural, sporting and political events of the overseas territories. Via this new functionality, which is however not accessible on france.tv, the public group intends to be "closer to its audiences" and allow everyone "to go even further in sharing, understanding and knowing more about overseas France,” the statement explained.
