The Netherlands will be honored at the 15th edition of Les Arcs Film Festival (December 16 to 23), in partnership with the NL Film Fonds, SEE NL and Buma, the organizers announced on Wednesday June 7. A selection of Dutch films will be screened, while several projects at different stages of development will be presented as part of the Industry Village, the professional component of the event. A delegation of film and music professionals will also be expected. As part of this partnership, a Dutch project selected at the Coproduction Village will also be selected for the Rotterdam Film Festival Cinemart.
The Coproduction Village has also just launched its call for projects, open until July 31. One of the 18 selected projects will receive the ArteKino International prize, endowed with 6,000 euros. This concerns projects of more than 70 minutes currently in development (fiction, animation or documentary) and seeking partners, whose main producer is European and whose director has made at least one short film or can demonstrate experience in other artistic fields.
The call for films for the festival is open until August 25 and the call for projects for Les Arcs Work in Progress will open this summer and will be open until mid-October.
