Marvelous Productions / Echo Studio / Pan Distribution: filming "Ma France à moi"

The shooting of Ma France à moi by Benoît Cohen with Fanny Ardant, Pierre Deladonchamps and the young non-professional Afghan actor Nawid Elham is underway in Paris until December 23, announced its producers, Marvelous Productions and Echo Studio, as well as its distributor, Pan Distribution. This "humanist film," adapted from the story of director Mohammad, ma mère et moi (Flammarion), has also received support from the Ile-de-France Region, Singa, Ciné+, Prime Video, Cofimage, Cinécap, Prod Lab, Shadows Films and Belorio Films.

It tells the story of France, who has lived alone in her apartment since the death of her husband. When she hears on the radio that the Singa association puts homeless migrants in contact with people who can take them in, she decides, against the advice of those close to her – her son most of all – to take in Reza, a young Afghan broken by war and exodus. This is the story of two worlds that collide, tame each other and finish by reaching out to each other.
