
The 59th prize for journalism from the Médias francophones publics (French-speaking Public Media)(MFP) was awarded on Sunday, December 4 by an international jury of listeners, to Maurine Mercier from the editorial staff of RTS (Radio Télévision Suisse), for a report, through a mother's story, on the abuses committed by Russian occupation troops in Boutcha (Ukraine), its organizers announced the next day. Maurine Mercier is a correspondent for RTS in Ukraine, where she also collaborates with Radio France and RTBF.
The MFP journalism prize is awarded each year to the best audio treatment of a current event, the best investigation or the best report on a social event presented by the editorial staff of the five MFP partner radios: Radio France, Radio-Canada, RFI, RTS and RTBF.
