Mercer Productions / Arte: filming of the documentary "Bhutan – Dans les pas de Matthieu Ricard "

Mercer Productions (Federation Studios) began shooting the documentary Bhoutan – Dans les pas de Matthieu Ricard (52'), a provisional title, on Sunday October 16 for Arte, Federation announced on Thursday October 27. Produced by Olivier Brémond and Thorunn Anspach, the film is directed by Jérôme-Cecil Auffret, who co-wrote it with Caroline Halley. Filming is taking place in Bhutan for a period of 28 days. International sales will be handled by Federation.

After seven years of absence, Matthieu Ricard, monk and photographer, returns to Bhutan, a small secret kingdom in the Himalayas where he lived for ten years. The documentary invites you to discover the man as well as his favorite country, opening the doors that are closed to everyone else.
