Mood – Debussy, a room at the Cannes Film Festival with an “exceptional sound”? : open letter to David Lisnard

The General Delegate of the Cannes Film Festival, Thierry Frémaux, repeats it on the stage of the Salle Debussy in Cannes every year on the occasion of the opening of the "Un Certain Regard" section: this room has an exceptional acoustic system.. And it's true, each of the festival-goers can judge for each of the screenings.
Except that… certain screenings, those of the second part of the evening, are systematically interfered with by sounds (especially the bass) coming from the adjoining nightclub which, of course, is full during the Festival.
This is therefore the reason for this " open letter to David Lisnard ", Mayor of Cannes, hoping that this article on a "detail", certainly minor concerning the Festival, but which is not so much for festival-goers who experience the problem every night, can help solve the issue. Knowing that, no doubt, a simple consultation between the nightclub and the Festival advising of the end time of the screenings (effective, because this year Debussy is systematically late!), could be enough. In any case, that's what we hope...
