MYTF1: broadcast of the course of the XV of France in World Cups between 1987 and 2019

100 days before the start of the Rugby World Cup which will take place in France, the MYTF1 platform will allow viewers to relive the course of the XV of France during the previous editions of the competition, announced TF1, broadcaster of the 2023 World Cup (September 8 to October 28), Wednesday May 31. This retrospective is available within an exclusive thematic channel dedicated to the entire OTT, application and connected TV universe of MYTF1, specifies the press release.
This program will allow you to see or review all the matches played in official competition between 1987 and 2019. “From the founding semi-final against Australia in 1987 to the birth of a whole new generation in 2019, passing through the achievements against the All Blacks in 1999 and 2007 or the breathtaking semi-final against South Africa in 1995, relive the history of the French team, ” tells MYTF1.
Remember that the TF1 group, holder of the rights to the 2023 World Cup, will offer the 20 most popular games from September 8 with the opening match at the Stade de France (France / New Zealand) then 20 matches including three group matches of the France team, the two best quarter-finals including the one with France, the two semi-finals, the match for third place and the final. From August 5, TF1 will exclusively broadcast the four preparation matches of the XV of France.
TF1 signed a sub-licence agreement in January with the France Télévisions and M6 groups. This agreement relates to the diffusion of 28 matches of the Mondial distributed between the two broadcasters on free-to-air (Satellifacts, January 11).
