National Animation Film Festival: the selection of the 29th edition revealed

The National Animation Film Festival unveiled on Wednesday, February 8, the selection of the 2023 edition which will take place in Rennes and its metropolis from April 1 to 5. A novelty characterizes it with the integration into the competition of the program "For toddlers," accessible from 3 years old.

Nine feature films will be screened, including a preview, L'Ile by Anca Damian. The other eight films are: Ernest and Celestine: A Trip to Gibberitia by Jean-Christophe Roger and Julien Chheng, No Dogs or Italians Allowed by Alain Ughetto, Nayola by José Miguel Ribeiro, Pattie et la Colère de Poséidon by David Alaux, Little Nicholas - Happy as Can Be by Amandine Fredon and Benjamin Massoudre, Blind Willows, Sleeping Woman Pierre Földes, Unicorn Wars by Alberto Vázquez and Yuku and the Flower of the Himalayas by Arnaud Demuynck and Rémi Durin.

The selection also includes 59 short films in competition as well as 47 panorama works, including 11 series and singles.

Proposed in parallel with the screenings of the selection, the professional days will take place precisely from April 3 to 5, the organizer told Satellifacts. Always structured between pitches and round tables, their program will be detailed later.
