The National Assembly, on the initiative of its president, Yaël Braun-Pivet (Renaissance), is organizing a " Weekend of political film ", from March 30 to April 2, it said on Wednesday March 22. This first edition will open on Thursday 30 March with a debate on the theme “ How to film politics? with the participation of screenwriters and directors Pierre Schoeller and Sylvain Desclous, Télérama journalist Guillemette Odicino, director Yves Jeuland and Isabelle Giordano, former general manager of Unifrance, details the press release.
Seven fiction and documentary films will be screened during the event: the feature films Paris à tout prix by Yves Jeuland, Quai d'Orsay by Bertrand Tavernier, L'Exercice de l'Etat by Pierre Schoeller, La Campagne de France by Sylvain Desclous, Silvio et les autres by Paolo Sorrentino, Les Promessess by Thomas Kruithof, and the short film Coluche president by Romain Goupil.
On the occasion of this event, LCP will also broadcast L'Exercice de l'Etat on 2 April.
