Netflix: the Harry and Meghan documentary in the Top 10 in its first week online

The documentary about Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, which premiered on Netflix on December 8, logged 81.55 million viewing hours across the world in 7 days, according to data from the platform. Unheard of for a documentary during its first week of broadcast, Netflix stated.

This makes it the second most viewed program during the period from December 5 to 11. The one before it, Season 1 of Wednesday, is in Netflix's "Top 10" TV shows for the 3rd week in a row.

The documentary appears in the platform's Top 10 programs in 85 countries covered by Netflix. It takes first place in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
