Netflix: the series "Dahmer-Monster" has exceeded one billion hours viewed

“The series Dahmer – Monster : The Jeffrey Dahmer Story has officially surpassed 1 billion hours viewed,” Netflix announced on Twitter. This first season of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan's Monster anthology series, starring Evan Peters in the title role, is the third Netflix original series to achieve this record, joining Stranger Things 4 and Squid Game, and thus the 2nd English series to achieve this milestone.

Posted on September 21, 2022, it reached this historic Top 3 in 60 days. It also stayed in the Top 10 worldwide for 7 weeks and reached the Top 10 in 92 countries. The series traces the journey of the Milwaukee cannibal, one of the most notorious serial killers in the United States, until his conviction in 1992. Netflix recently ordered two new seasons which will focus on other monstrous characters who have marked society.
