Aspergirl (10 x 22'), a series labeled OCS Signature, will be launched on Thursday April 6 on OCS Max, the Orange bouquet announced. Produced by Patafilm (Antonin Ehrenberg) in co-production with Belgian company Velvet Films (Sebastian Schelenz), it tells the misadventures of a single mother, played by Nicole Ferroni, who discovers that she has Asperger's autism when her 11-year-old son is diagnosed and who will try to appear as "normal" as possible to keep custody.

The actress and comedian is surrounded by the young Franco-American Carel Brown, Mustapha Abourachid (Hippocrates), Benjamin Tranié (columnist on France Inter), Suzanne de Baecque (Derby Girl) and Victoire Du Bois (Marianne). Aspergirl was written by Hadrien Cousin and Judith Godinot (Nu) and directed by Lola Roqueplo (Têtard). It also counts Pictanovo and RTL-TVI as co-producers.

The series has been selected for the French competition of the 2023 edition of Séries Mania, which will take place from March 17 to 24 in Lille and Hauts-de-France (Satellifacts, February 8).
