The 13th edition of the Paris Images Production Forum, which will be held on February 9 and 10 at the Parc Floral in Paris, will be "looking towards tomorrow," indicated its organizers on Friday, December 9. The new challenges of production, preparing the future of the sector, the promotion of talents and regional territories and the promotion of eco-responsible practices are among the themes that will be addressed during these two days, organized by Film Paris Region with the support of the Ile-de-France Region and the CNC.
A hundred exhibitors will be present, while a workshop area will be set up to "strengthen interactions between speakers and the professional public" and "offer visitors specific formats." About thirty conferences will be offered, focusing in particular on filming in Ile-de-France during the Olympic Games, the emergence of virtual production, new qualification needs, collaboration with platforms and even sustainable production.
This 13th edition aims to be eco-responsible itself, with for example less carpeting, rented stands, recycling of non-rented items, sorting bins or even a reduction in the number of printed media.
