Pathé: the short film “Strange Way of Life” by Pedro Almodóvar in cinemas on August 16, 2023

The short film Strange Way of Life by Pedro Almodóvar (31 minutes) starring Ethan Hawke and Pedro Pascal will be released in French theaters on August 16, 2023 by Pathé, the distributor said on Wednesday April 26. The western, shot in the south of Spain, will be presented this year at the Cannes Film Festival (Satellifacts, April 11). This is Pedro Almodóvar's second production in English, after The Human Voice in 2020.

The synopsis: Silva crosses the desert on horseback to find Jake whom he knew twenty-five years earlier when they were both contract killers. Silva wishes to reconnect with his childhood friend, now sheriff, but this reunion is not his only motivation.
