Many media such as Canal+, Eurosport, France Médias Monde (RFI, France 24, MCD) as well as other companies such as Orange, Eutelsat and Microsoft were affected on Tuesday June 6 by a power cut in a large area of Issy-les-Moulineaux, in order to challenge the pension reform law adopted this spring. This cut was made around 10 a.m., in particular from an Enedis source station, where several dozen electricians gathered in the early morning.

The headquarters of Orange, deprived of electricity, was evacuated and many employees returned home to telecommute, management said. "Part of the headquarters of France Médias Monde is affected by the cut and is currently powered by generators pending a return to normal," said the group, specifying that there was no impact on program delivery.

Power was restored at midday. This protest action took place during the 14th day of national mobilization and possibly the last, against this text, the first decrees of which were published on Sunday June 4. In addition to the gradual decline in the legal retirement age from 62 to 64, the most controversial measure, electricians and gas workers reject the abolition of their special pension scheme, which is more protective.
