Pierre Niney: in the cast of "Modi" movie, directed by Johnny Depp and co-produced by Al Pacino

Pierre Niney will play the painter Maurice Utrillo in the film Modi directed by Johnny Depp, he announced on his Twitter account on Wednesday May 10, confirming information from Deadline. This feature film set in 1916 recounts 48 crucial hours of the Parisian stay of the painter Amedeo Modigliani, played by the Italian actor Riccardo Scamarcio (Tre Piani, John Wick Chapter 2).
Modi is based on a play by Dennis McIntyre. The screenplay is written by Jerzy and Mary Kromolowski. Filming is scheduled in Budapest this fall. The film is produced by Al Pacino, who will play the collector Gangnat, Barry Navidi Productions and IN.2, Johnny Depp's production company, which is the second film as a director after The Brave released in 1997.
