While the final prime time airing of Plus belle la vie (Telfrance Series), broadcast on Friday November 18 on France 3, was watched by 2.79 million viewers for an audience share of 14%, ranking 2nd behind NRJ Music Awards (TF1), various operations marked the end of this soap opera, after eighteen years of broadcasting on the public channel.
An advertising page in which France Télévisions thanks "all the actors and actresses" whose "talent has made the immense success of the soap opera" was published in several daily newspapers, in particular on the inside page of Le Parisien and Le Monde, and on the last page of Liberation. Spots were also broadcast on the air by the public group. A video with "The last sequence of the Mistral" featuring the song Tout le bonheur du monde by the French group Sinsemilia had been seen, as of Sunday, November 20, nearly 34,000 times on YouTube.
