
Former French tennis number one Jo-Wilfried Tsonga is joining the Prime Video consulting team for the 2023 Roland-Garros tournament, from May 22 to June 11, the platform announced on Wednesday May 10. He joined the team made up, like last year, of former players Marion Bartoli, Tatiana Golovin, Pauline Parmentier and even Fabrice Santoro, Arnaud Clément and Guy Forget (Satellifacts, May 16, 2022).
Co-broadcaster with France Télévisions of the tournament, Prime Video will exclusively broadcast all the matches played on the Simonne-Mathieu court and the 10 evening sessions of the Philippe-Chatrier court. The platform will also broadcast the men's and women's, singles and doubles semi-finals and finals live.
In addition, subscribers to the platform will be able to follow, from 10:45 a.m., a program hosted by Clémentine Sarlat from the Prime Video studio located in the aisles of Roland-Garros and, from 7:45 p.m. until the start of the matches at 8:30 p.m., the broadcast of the evening session hosted by Thibault Le Rol from the Philippe-Chatrier studio. After the match, a debrief show of the evening session is scheduled.
Prime Video and France Télévisions recently renewed their rights to broadcast Roland-Garros until 2027 (Satellifacts, March 30).
