
Prime Video will release the Salade grecque series (8 episodes) by Cédric Klapisch on April 14, the platform announced on Monday, February 6. Salade grecque, which takes place twenty years after the action of the film The Spanish Apartment, will be available in France and around the world.
This Amazon Original series, co-produced by Ce Qui Me Meut (Bruno Lévy), was created by Cédric Klapisch, in collaboration with Thomas Colineau, Agnès Hurstel, Paul Madillo and Eugène Riousse, with writing by Charlotte de Givry. It is co-directed by Cédric Klapisch, Lola Doillon and Antoine Garceau.
The plot: Tom, 26, and his sister Mia, 22, are the children of Xavier and Wendy (The Spanish Apartment). When their grandfather dies, they inherit property in Athens. Tom, a young startuper trained in New York, joins his sister in Greece to manage the family inheritance. He will realize that Mia, who claims to be studying in Erasmus, is in fact a rebel activist who is lying to the whole family. Their differences of opinion and way of life will make the sharing of the inheritance very complicated. They will find themselves (like their parents twenty-five years earlier) living with young people from all over Europe. It is this collective life that will ultimately help them to get closer.
Tom and Mia are played by Aliocha Schneider and Megan Northam. They play alongside Aggy K. Adams, Reham Alkassar, Amir Baylly, Davide Iachini, Amro Ahmad Jamous, Anna Kameníková, Dimitri Kitsos, Ioanna Kolliopoulou, Anastasis Laoulakos, Josip Ledina, Elsa Lekakou, Fotiní Peluso and Félix Vannoorenberghe. Romain Duris, Cécile de France, Kevin Bishop, Barnaby Metschurat and Kelly Reilly also reprise their roles.
