Prix Europa Cinemas 2022: the Kino Pilotů in Prague and the Belgian company Lumière honored

The Prix Europa Cinemas 2022 were awarded on Saturday December 3 to the Kino Pilotů cinema in Prague (best programming) and to Alexander Vandeputte and Jan De Clercq of the Belgian company Lumière Cinémas (entrepreneurs of the year), during a ceremony at the Balzac cinema in Paris.

The Kino Pilotů, which has three rooms with 170 seats and which welcomes nearly 80,000 visitors a year, has succeeded, thanks to its programming, in selling more tickets between April and the end of October 2022 than over the same period in 2019, before the crisis.

For its part, Lumière Cinémas, created in 1996, is active in production, film financing, distribution, a streaming platform, four cinemas and an animation studio.
