Radio France: 12,000 participants for the second edition of the Hyper Weekend Festival

The second edition of the Hyper Weekend Festival brought together 12,000 people, Radio France announced on Tuesday, January 24. The festival took place from January 20 to 22, for 3 days and 3 nights. It brought together 57 artists and 48 concerts (including a third of creations) on eight stages were held at the Maison de la radio et de la musique, for more than 70 hours of events in total.

In addition, this edition was marked by an incident in the Agora on the evening of Saturday, January 21: a slab collapsed and 12 festival-goers suffered injuries. “We are particularly thinking of [them] […] their condition seems reassuring and we wish them all a good recovery,” Radio France said on its Twitter account the next day. "The incident may have caused fear and emotion among the festival-goers present and we offer them our most sincere apologies. […] We are in contact with the police teams and Radio France is hiring an expert to determine the causes of the incident.."
