Résidences Sofilm: extension of the series with calls for tenders on two themes

The Résidences Sofilm are opening up to a new theme around the series, its organizers, Sofilm, Wild Bunch International and the Pays de la Loire Region, indicated in a joint press release on Friday, December 2. Two calls for tenders have been launched as part of this first edition, one for "action/thriller" series and the other for "fantasy/futuristic." “Special attention will be paid to projects that highlight contemporary issues,” it is specified. The deadline for submitting applications has been set for January 2.

The first week of residency will be held in Paris from January 30 to February 3. The screenwriters selected by a committee at the end of this period will be able to work on their script during a second session which will take place in Nantes "at the end of March-beginning of April." The selected projects will then be presented at the Sofilm Summercamp festival, which is held in this same place in June.

Scriptwriters or writers, with or without a producer, who want to apply in one or the other of the two categories but not both, must send a three-page synopsis with a statement of intent and a CV. Applications must be submitted to the address residences@sofilm-festival.fr.
