The RFI music library has launched its call for applications for the 7th edition of the RFI Instrumental prize, announced France Médias Monde radio. Organized in partnership with the INA, Adobe and Aprim Publishing, this prize intended for professionals or enthusiasts of music editing for images aims to promote the know-how of sound illustrators.
Candidates must register before March 17 at 5 p.m. (Paris time) on the RFI Instrumental website. The finalists, selected on applications, will then receive the video that they will have to edit before April 17th.
Candidates are invited to edit this video provided by France 24 and a trailer provided by TV5 Monde with music from RFI Instrumental (more than 2,500 original music from around the world). This competition also leaves room for musical creation: each selected candidate will be able to compose music of their own creation for video editing. The jury, made up of audiovisual production and music editing professionals, will announce the names of the winner and finalists in June.
The winner will be awarded 3,000 euros; 2nd place allows you to win an INA professional training course entitled “Mastering: finalizing a musical production” listed in the INA 2023 catalog (value of €1,500); 3 rd place offers a one-year subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud (value of €720). Finally, the 4th is a GRM Tools Complete II license (value of 499 €) by the INA.
