Starting in 2024, the Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG Awards) will be broadcast live on Netflix worldwide, the American Actors Union said on Wednesday (January 11th) when the nominations for the 2023 edition were announced. The latter, which will take place on February 26, will be broadcast live on Netflix's YouTube channel.
Martin McDonagh's The Banshees of Inisherin and Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan's Everything Everywhere All at Once topped the nominations with five nominations each, tying records for Shakespeare in Love in 1998, Chicago in 2002 and Doubt in 2008. Both films are in the running in the queen category of the best distribution, against Babylon by Damien Chazelle, The Fabelmans by Steven Spielberg and Women Talking by Sarah Polley.
