Studiocanal / Hayday Films: start of filming in Peru in July for “Paddington 3”

The filming of Paddington in Peru, 3rd installment of the hit franchise from Studiocanal and Hayday Films, directed by Dougal Wilson, will debut July 24 in Peru, Deadline reported Monday (April 3). The Briton, who until then directed music videos and commercials, succeeds Paul King, at the controls of the first two films, released in 2015 and 2018, and which had generated nearly 500 million dollars in revenue. The director, who is currently working on Wonka, the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory prequel for Warner Bros., remains associated with the project as a producer.
