
France Télévisions, media partner with Talents des cités, awarded its 2022 prize on Thursday, November 24 to Mamadou Wadou for his Cecifoot IFC academy. This award was presented during a ceremony organized at the group's headquarters in partnership with the Ministry of Urbain Affairs and Housing.
This academy, located in Gonfreville-l'Orcher, near Le Havre, aims to provide visually-impaired football enthusiasts with a football hall equipped with technologies allowing them to practice this sport. Mamadou Wadou, 34, visually-impaired and educator in an amateur football club, is behind the project.
The winner will be honored on the group's linear and digital channels. The networks of France Televisions (France 3 and Overseas) will relay his portrait from November 28 and a special program, Dans ma région !, in partnership with Pôle emploi, will be dedicated to him on Wednesday, December 7.
