"Télérama" children's festival: nearly 60,000 admissions for the 2023 edition

For its 6th edition, the Télérama children's festival recorded nearly 60,000 admissions between February 8 and 28 in nearly 200 arthouse cinemas, announced its organizers, Télérama and Afcae, on Wednesday March 8. Remember that 15 films or programs of short films were programmed, as well as three premieres, at the single price of 3.5 euros per seat. Last year, the event generated 63,000 entries.

The film that attracted the most viewers was Dounia and the Princess of Aleppo by Marya Zarif and André Kadi (Haut et Court) with more than 11,500 admissions, ahead of Titina by Kajsa Næss (Les Films du Losange) and its 10,500 admissions, then the Korean short program Piro Piro (Cinema Public Films) with more than 8,600 admissions. The cinema that welcomed the most people was Ciné St-Leu in Amiens (2,212 admissions), ahead of Katorza in Nantes (1,944 admissions) and Le Méliès in Grenoble (1,911 admissions).
