The 2022 Telethon raised 90.8 million euros for the benefit of research on rare genetic diseases, its best result since 2016, the organizers of the charity marathon welcomed on Thursday March 30.
At the end of the operation, on December 2 and 3, the meter was temporarily stopped on just over €78 million collected. But the public still had the possibility of donating later, which allowed to reach the final sum of 90,839,067 €, or 5.7% more than last year, specified the AFM-Téléthon in a release. This 2022 edition, sponsored by comedian Kev Adams, was able to return to its full potential after two years marked by the Covid epidemic.
The 37th Telethon will take place on December 8 and 9, 2023.
