The miniseries Les Disparus de la Forêt noire (4 x 52'), co-produced by Banijay Studios France and Fiction'Air for TF1, will broadcast its first two episodes on January 5. Winner of the grand prize for the 2022 series at the Polar de Cognac Festival, it recounts an investigation after the discovery of 12 corpses near the Franco-German border, in the heart of the Black Forest and a binational military base. It is led by a Franco-German inspector (Grégory Fitoussi) assisted by an examining magistrate (Hélène de Fougerolles) who returns to the field one year after an accident. They will discover direct links between the two events.

The two actors play alongside Tchéky Karyo, Thierry Godard, Astrid Whettnall and Victoria Eber, with the participation of Bruno Wolkowitch and Laëtitia Eïdo. Les Disparus de la Forêt noire was created by Stéphane Pannetier and Julien Vanlerenberghe. The miniseries is directed by Ivan Fegyveres, from a screenplay by Samir Oubechou and Chérif Saïs, Yasmine Perlov and Caroline Van Ruymbeke, Stéphane Pannetier and Julien Vanlerenberghe. Belga Productions and the Belgian public group RTBF are also co-producers.
