TF1 will broadcast the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful (Amour, gloire et beauté, in French) from January 2 from Monday to Friday at 10:20a.m., the channel announced on Tuesday, December 13. It will precede the other famous soap opera Les Feux de l'amour broadcast on TF1 since August 1989.

The Bold and the Beautiful was programmed on France 2 for thirty-three years. The Bold and the Beautiful created on CBS in 1987 by William Joseph Bell and Lee Phillip Bell, launched on Antenne 2 in June 1989, under the title Top Models, before being renamed Amour, gloire et beauté in 1990.

On TF1, the broadcast will resume on January 2 at episode 8,688, exactly where France 2 will stop on December 30. Instead of the soap opera, the public channel will broadcast an extended version of La Maison des maternelles, presented by Agathe Lecaron, from 9:30a.m. to 10:35a.m. Now from 10a.m. to 10:35a.m., a second part of the show, entitled La Maison des maternelles à votre service, will offer "lots of new sections," producer Jérôme Caza (2P2L) announced on Twitter.
