TMC will broadcast the Visitors series (8 x 26') created and directed by Simon Astier on Friday June 23 from 9:25 p.m., announced the TF1 group channel, which will program the eight episodes in a row. As a reminder, Visitors, produced by MakingProd (Mediawan), is the first Warner TV Original French series. It was launched a year ago on the Warner Bros. Discovery in France and is available on the HBO Max platform in Europe and the United States (Satellifacts, June 21, 2022).
The plot takes place in the city of Pointe-Claire, where there is an abandoned military base and a clumsy police force, facing an alien invasion. After a nighttime explosion the day before his first day on the job, Richard Garcia, a video game store owner and rookie cop, finds himself embroiled in a war between rival alien factions...while juggling his best friends Bob and Mitch, his former love Jacqueline and his wife Nancy, a successful real estate agent. As mysterious forces close in on the Pointe-Claire police, it's up to Richard to convince the city – and the world – that aliens do exist…and not all of them come in peace!
The cast is made up of Simon Astier (Richard Garcia), Damien Jouillerot (Bob), Vincent Desagnat (Mitch), Tiphaine Daviot (Nancy), Florence Loiret-Caille (Frédérique), Julie Bargeton (Jacqueline), David Marsais (Muller), Arnaud Tsamere (Bret) and Grégoire Ludig (Daniel).
