Trace has launched the Trace Academia online training app in France, the group founded and led by Olivier Laouchez and which adopted the status of mission-based company in May 2021, announced on Thursday, November 24. Trace Academia, to which access is free and unlimited, has already been available in Africa for several months and has accumulated more than 380,000 downloads.
Trace Academia has two objectives : "to bring young people who have dropped out of school or work towards training and employment and to make new generations aware of the diversity of professions and sectors of activity in order to support them in their orientation and professional success," describes the press release. Trace Academia aims to help 26 million young people, including 1 million in France, by 2026.
Hundreds of courses are available online and for download, presented with short videos. They have been designed in collaboration with major French and international companies and organizations (Google, the L'Oréal Foundation, AFD, Unesco, Orange, Canal+, Sacem, the African Union, the University of Johannesburg, Senghor University…). The app also offers personality tests, knowledge consolidation quizzes, job presentations and opportunities for internships, jobs or practical training with partners. Professional training in sectors of activity and professions in tension are offered.
The launch of Trace Academia was initially planned for the first quarter of 2022 (Satellifacts, September 9, 2021).
