TV5 Monde, official operator of the International Organization of the French-speaking world (Organisation internationale de la francophonie, OIF), and the Center of National Monuments (le Centre des monuments nationaux, CMN) signed a partnership agreement on Monday, December 12 for the implementation of the activities of the Cité internationale de la langue française at the Château de Villers-Cotterêts, which will open its doors in the spring of 2023.

This partnership concluded between TV5 monde and the CMN is above all scientific and cultural and aims to enrich the tour of the Cité and to provide multimedia resources relating to the French language and the production of audiovisual and/or radio programs, the statement said.

Currently, the two partners are co-producing a web series entitled A chacun son métier dedicated to the professions of the monument restoration site. These videos are accompanied by a system of educational tools, which aims to facilitate professional integration and prepare a professional skills diploma in French. An operation that is part of the missions of the future Cité internationale de la langue française. TV5 Monde provides, for the benefit of the Cité, educational resources for teaching and learning French.
