TV5 Monde obtained a score of 99 points out of 100 in the 2022 gender equality index, according to a press release from the channel published on Friday March 10. A score consistent with the one obtained the previous year, underlines the channel, signatory of the charter “Parity: instructions” of the association For women in the media (PFDM).
TV5 Monde obtains the maximum points on 4 of the 5 indicators that make the index. It thus displays a score of 39 points out of the 40 for the indicator relating to the pay gap between women and men in equal positions and of comparable age.
The other indicators relate to the number of women among the 10 highest salaries, the percentage of employees who received a raise in the year of their return from maternity leave, the gap in promotion rates between women and men as well as the difference in the rate of individual salary increases.
