TV5Mondeplus: launch of the Romanian version of the free francophone platform

TV5 Monde has launched the Romanian version of its TV5Mondeplus AVOD streaming platform, with an interface and subtitles in Romanian, the channel announced on Thursday March 16. Launched in September 2020, this global service provides access to a catalog of "more than 7,000 hours" and reaches " 2 million monthly visits ", according to the press release.

The country already broadcasts TV5 Monde Europe (in a subtitled version since 2008) which is watched by “nearly one million Romanian households”, indicates the channel. The launch of the platform is part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Romania's accession to the International Organization of Francophonie.
