UGC: programming of 100 Warner Bros. films in 20 cinemas, for the centenary of the studio

On the occasion of the centenary of Warner Bros., UGC will screen a program of 100 films from the studio from June 7 to August 29 in 20 of its cinemas throughout France, the group announced on Wednesday May 31. These screenings, at the price of 8.50 euros, will take place in the presence of “ many personalities […] and within the framework of exclusive events (masterclasses, debates, concerts, exhibitions…)”, according to the press release.

The UGC Ciné Cité Les Halles, the largest cinema in the world in terms of admissions, will program 1 film per day from June 7 to August 29, that is “84 masterpieces”. The UGC Ciné Cité Bercy will offer retrospectives (The Lord of the Rings saga, Christopher Nolan, DC Comics, etc.).

And 18 UGC cinemas throughout France will screen Warner feature films every Saturday and Sunday evening (UGC Ciné Cité Vélizy, UGC Ciné Cité Créteil, UGC Ciné Cité Cergy, UGC Issy-les-Moulineaux, UGC Ciné Cité La Défense, UGC Ciné Cité SQY Ouest, UGC Ciné Cité Rosny, UGC Ciné Cité Parly, UGC Ciné Cité Noisy-le-Grand, UGC Ciné Cité Part-Dieu in Lyon, UGC Ciné Cité internationale in Lyon, UGC Ciné Cité Atlantis in Nantes, UGC Ciné Cité Bordeaux, UGC Ciné Cité Bassins à flot in Bordeaux, UGC Talence in Bordeaux, UGC Ciné Cité Lille, UGC Ciné Cité Strasbourg and UGC Nancy).

As a reminder, the kick-off of the centenary of Warner Bros. was given at the beginning of April, with several events and retrospectives organized in France throughout the year, on small and big screens (Satellifacts, April 4).
