Unité/Federation/Arte: end of filming of the "Rematch" series, with an international cast

Unité (Bruno Nahon), with Federation Studios, will complete the filming of the Rematch series (6 x 52') on December 15, announced Arte, the sponsor channel, on Tuesday, December 13. It took place in Montreal and Budapest.

The project was initiated by French producer Bruno Nahon. Quebec director and actor Yan England (1h54, Sam, Les Pays d'en haut and the Quebec version, Bracelets rouges) is directing the series, which he co-wrote with André Gulluni.

This psychological thriller chronicles the historic clash between world chess champion Garry Kasparov and IBM's supercomputer Deep Blue in 1997. Rematch brings together an international cast including Christian Cooke (Le Serment, That Dirty Black Bag), Sarah Bolger (The Tudors, Counterpart), Trine Dyrholm (Les Héritiers, Bauhaus – Un temps nouveau), Aidan Quinn (Elementary, Legends of the Fall), Tom Austen (The Royals), Luke Pasqualino (Skins), and Orion Lee (First Cow).
