Women in Motion: the 2023 Cannes Film Festival “Talks” program

The Women in Motion program unveiled, on Wednesday May 17, its Talks organized during the 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. As a reminder, this program launched by the luxury group Kering in 2015 aims to highlight the contribution of women to cinema, in front of and behind the camera. As part of its Talks (open by invitation to journalists and film professionals), personalities share their views on the representation of women and diversity within their profession.

After Jeremy O. Harris, playwright, actor and philanthropist (Thursday, May 18 at 11 a.m.), Katie Holmes, actress, producer and director (Thursday, May 18 at 3 p.m.), Jeanne Herry, director, screenwriter and actress (Friday, May 19 at 3 p.m.), Cate Blanchett, actress and producer and Coco Francini, producer (Saturday May 20 at 10 a.m.), Lily Gladstone, actress (Saturday May 20 at 11:30 a.m.), Michelle Yeoh, actress and producer (Sunday, May 21 at 2:30 p.m.), winner of the 2023 Women in Motion award (Satellifacts, April 6), the 2023 Talks will feature Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, actress (Tuesday, May 23 at 11 a.m.), Eva Longoria, actress and producer, and Stacy L. Smith, professor and researcher at the USC Annenberg Inclusion initiative (Tuesday, May 23 at 2:30 p.m.).
