Mexican director Jorge R. Gutiérrez (The Book of Life), who has already signed the poster for the Annecy International Animation Film Festival (June 11-17) devoted to Mexico this year, will also be the sponsor of the Mifa Campus, announced the organizers, Thursday, March 23. On this occasion, he will give a masterclass on Tuesday, June 13.
As a reminder, the Mifa Campus, intended for young animators and students, will now take place over 4 days, from June 13 to 16, for the duration of the International Animation Film Market (Mifa) against a single day previously (Satellifacts, December 13). It will be held in a space called Le Campus, dedicated to content for talents where " training and recruitment will be in the spotlight". The program will be communicated later.
