Dominik Moll's film The Night of the 12th received the 2023 "Believe in Cinema" (Croire au cinéma) prize on Tuesday, January 31. The jury, chaired by Frédéric Rossignol, Director of Development and Distribution of the CFRT (Le Jour du Seigneur), praised “a complex portrayal of society and gender relations, in the context of violence against women. This striking film shows, without any Manichaeism, the confrontation with evil.” The prize will be awarded in March at the cinema Les 7 Parnassiens in Paris, in the presence of the film crew.

This distinction, created in 2021 by the Signis-Cinéma association (member of the Catholic Media Federation), rewards a film each year for the human or spiritual values it depicts.
