Berlinale 2023: Kristen Stewart president of the jury

The American actress, screenwriter and director Kristen Stewart will preside over the jury of the 73rd Berlinale (February 16 to 26), the organizers indicated on Friday, December 9. She succeeds M. Night Shyamalan, whose jury awarded Alcarràs by Carla Simón last year.

Mariette Rissenbeek and Carlo Chatrian, the directors of the event, hailed "one of the most talented and versatile actresses of her generation," a "perfect link between the United States and Europe," who gave life to "eternal characters," from Bella Swan (Twilight) to the Princess of Wales (Spencer).
