Critics' Choice Awards 2023: 5 prizes including Best Film for "Everything Everywhere…"

Everything Everywhere All At Once

Everything Everywhere All at Once by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert won the prize for best film as well as that of best direction, best original screenplay and best editing on the occasion of the 28th Critics' Choice ceremony Awards on Sunday, January 15. The film also won Best Supporting Actor (for Ke Huy Quan). Actors who were also awarded include: Cate Blanchett for Tár by Todd Field and Brendan Fraser for The Whale by Darren Aronofsky.

The prize for best comedy singled out the Netflix film Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery by Rian Johnson, which also won the prize for best casting. The prize for best animated film also went to a Netflix film: Pinocchio by Guillermo del Toro.

For series, the award for Best Miniseries went to The Dropout (Hulu), Best Drama Series went to Better Call Saul (AMC), and Best Comedy Series went to Abbott Elementary (ABC).
