Knock at the Cabin by M. Night Shyamalan with Dave Bautista, Rupert Grint, Jonathan Groff and Ben Aldridge will be screened at the close of the 30th Gérardmer International Fantasy Film Festival (Festival international du film fantastique de Gérardmer) (January 25 to 29), the organizers announced on Tuesday, January 17. The feature will be released in French theaters on February 1, distributed by Universal Pictures.
The thriller tells the story of a young girl and her parents who spend their vacation in a remote cabin surrounded by nature. They are taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand an impossible choice from them in order to avoid the imminence of the apocalypse. While they have virtually no means of communication with the rest of the world, they will have to make their own decision.
