Prix Alice-Guy 2023: the award ceremony organized on April 13 at the Max Linder

Alice Winocour will receive the Alice-Guy 2023 prize for Paris Memories on Thursday April 13 during a ceremony at the Max Linder in Paris, the organizers of this distinction announced on Tuesday March 21, which rewards the best French or French-speaking feature film directed by a woman and released in theaters in the past year. Distributed by Pathé and released last September, it generated just over 530,000 admissions. Paris Memories is produced by Dharamsala (Isabelle Madelaine) with Darius Films. Its main actress, Virginie Efira, won the César for best actress for her role as Mia, victim of an attack in a Parisian brasserie.

A tribute will also be paid to Alice Guy to celebrate the 150th anniversary of her birth, on July 1, 1873, before the award ceremony, with the screening of several of her films, accompanied by the composer Claude Violante. At the end of the ceremony, Paris Memories will be screened.
