RFI: the winners of the 7th edition of the RFI Instrumental prize

RFI announced on Wednesday 14 June the winners of the 7th edition of the RFI Instrumental prize, which recognizes the know-how of sound illustrators. Endowed with 3,000 euros, the 1st prize was awarded to Moria Némo, 55, composer, instrumentalist and chorister. Jérôme Dupuis-Cloutier, 35, composer and multi-instrumentalist from Quebec, received the 2nd prize and won a professional training course from the INA, "Mastering: finalizing a musical production" (3 days worth of €1,500). The 3rd prize was awarded to Romain Noël, 34, a jazz and contemporary music musician. He won a one-year subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud (value of €720). The 4th prize was awarded to Cleef Mbadinga Koumba Souvi (I-PKU), 28, composer, sound engineer and songwriter from Gabon. He is awarded a GRM Tools Complete II license (€499) provided by the INA.

Among more than 300 candidates, the jury, chaired by Olivier Schaack, artistic director of TV5 Monde, selected ten French, Belgian, Swiss, Canadian, Cape Verdean and Gabonese finalists, before designating the four winners.
