Writers Guild Awards 2023: “Everything Everywhere All at Once” Best Original Screenplay

Everything Everywhere All at Once, written by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert received the Best Original Screenplay award at the Writers Guild Awards on Sunday March 5, honoring screenwriters. The prize for best adapted screenplay, was awarded to Women Talking, written by Sarah Polley – based on the book of the same title by Miriam Toews. The Best Documentary Screenplay award went to Moonage Daydream, written by Brett Morgen.
On the series side, the prize for best script for a drama was awarded to Severance (Apple TV+), which also received the prize for best script for a new series. Best Screenplay for a Comedy went to The Bear (FX), while in the Miniseries category, The White Lotus (HBO) won.
