Emmanuel Macron: 6.1 million viewers for his 8 p.m. interview on TF1

Nearly 6.1 million viewers (i.e. 28.3% audience share) watched Emmanuel Macron's interview on TF1's 8 p.m. news on Monday May 15, according to Médiamétrie figures published the next day.

By way of comparison, in a similar format (an interview) but at a different time (1 p.m.), a total of 11.5 million viewers had watched the President of the Republic's intervention on March 22, in the midst of pension reform strikes. But this total audience combined TF1 and France 2, which carried out the interview, as well as the four news channels. In a different format, 15.1 million viewers watched Emmanuel Macron's speech on April 17 at 8 p.m. on all the channels that broadcast it, after the promulgation of the highly contested pension reform.
