The call for feature film projects for the 7th Sofilm residence for genre cinema is open until April 23, the organizers indicated on Friday March 31. Organized in partnership with the CNC, Canal+, Goodfellas (ex-Wild Bunch International) and Bordeaux Métropole, the residency aims to " renew genre cinema in France and offer innovative writing methods by leaving more room for experiences of collective writing, literature, music", while associating very early in the writing "the main actors in the production of films". For each project, technical expertise will also be carried out by technicians from French special effects studios.
Ten feature film projects will be selected, and their leaders will be welcomed in residence during 2023. The projects will then be presented to main broadcasters.
